At PickEat, we’re transforming the event industry by eliminating waiting lines at concerts, stadiums, and festivals through seamless mobile ordering and smart kitchen management.

We’ve built a strong foundation with a talented team of front-end, back-end, and app developers. Now, we’re looking for a Technical Lead / Head of Engineering to bring structure, guide our engineers, and take our tech to the next level.

Your Role

We need a strong leader and problem-solver who can manage our front-end, back-end, and app developers while actively contributing to the codebase. You’ll be responsible for technical decisions, ensuring smooth deployments, and maintaining high-quality standards in our development process.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Tech Team – Oversee front-end, back-end, and app developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

• Own the Codebase – Step in to review, optimize, and debug code when needed.

• Streamline Deployment – Set up CI/CD pipelines, improve cloud infrastructure, and eliminate roadblocks in app deployment.

• Shape the Architecture – Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability of our tech stack.

• Improve Processes – Implement best engineering practices, ensure code quality, and introduce development workflows.

• Drive Innovation – Stay updated with the latest technologies and continuously improve our platform.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.

• Strong experience with React Native, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Previous experience leading or managing a tech team.

• Ability to step into the code when needed—comfortable working across the full stack.
